June 2, 2014 #Commschat on the PRCA DARE awards
This week on #CommsChat, we’ll be chatting about last week’s PRCA DARE Awards, Scotland and Northern Ireland. The awards celebrate the work of regional PR practitioners and will continue across the UK over the next month. We’re delighted to be joined be the PRCA’s @MattCartmell and Clare Smith, from the Scottish Government PR Team, who won the ‘In-house team of the year’ award.
Topics include:
- 2014 is a big year for Scotland, how will this effect the PR industry?
- Are regional PR practitioners required to work in a different way or to have separate skills to those working out of London?
- How do regionally focused awards benefit PR professionals?
- What makes an award-winning campaign?
- How can winning an award benefit your agency or in-house team?
- Are regional PR practitioners gaining broader influence within the industry as a whole?
Join us! We tweet from @CommsChat and #CommsChat takes place from 8-9pm UK time – for worldwide times, go here. Anyone can take part in the discussion – simply follow the hashtag here or on Twitter. If you can’t make the chat or would like to revisit it, a transcript will go up on Tuesday morning.
