February 13, 2019 #CommsChat on the nexus of brand and HR
Working at the nexus of HR and branding requires an understanding of organisational culture, brand, HR and internal communications. How should employer brand strategies be developed and who should be responsible for their implementation? We’ll be joined by Narda Shirley, MD of Gong Communications (@Gongcomms) on Monday’s #CommsChat to discuss the following topics.
- The issue at the nexus of brand and comms is organisational culture. Should culture be communicated externally?
- Who ‘owns’ the communication of culture?
- Is it corporate comms and brand reputation issue, or is it an employer brand issue that sits with the talent and HR team?
- Is culture too important to leave to the internal comms team?
- How do you measure the impact of culture communications?
Join us! We tweet from @CommsChat and #CommsChat takes place every Monday, from 8-9pm GMT. Anyone can take part in the discussion – simply follow the hashtag here or on Twitter. If you can’t make the chat or would like to revisit it, a transcript will be posted to Commschat.com on Tuesday morning. We’d love to hear your suggestions for future topics – please get in touch with Brittany via Twitter or email or contact us on Twitter with your ideas.
