October 15, 2015 #CommsChat on IC and measurement
Next week, we’re joined by Kevin Ruck from PR Academy as we talk about measurement and evaluation with regards to internal communications. We’ll think about how to make metrics meaningful, going beyond outputs, such as clicks, to the outcomes that lead to higher levels of engagement. Here are some of the topics up for discussion:
- Is measurement in IC as widespread as it should be? Why?
- How can internal comms managers use research and measurement to make practice more effective?
- Does your organisation effectively measure its IC campaigns or projects?
- Which techniques, services or platforms do you use?
- How do you apply the findings/results to improve your comms strategy moving forward?
- How can the industry make measurement more of a priority? Should there be set guidelines?
Join us! We tweet from @CommsChat and #CommsChat takes place from 8-9pm GMT. Anyone can take part in the discussion – simply follow the hashtag here or on Twitter. If you can’t make the chat or would like to revisit it, a transcript will go up on Tuesday morning. We’d love to hear your suggestions for future topics for #CommsChat – get in touch with Brittany by email or on Twitter if you have any ideas.
