This week's chat

October 5, 2016 #CommsChat on daring to fail

This week on #CommsChat we welcome Asif Choudry, better known as CommsHero, ahead of the three CommsHero conferences taking place across the UK in November. The theme this year is ‘Dare to fail’, so we’ll be discussing your biggest communications fails, how to create a ‘dare to fail’ culture in an organisation, and how to engage staff in an environment which encourages trial and error.

The topics are as follows:

  • What was your biggest communications fail? What did you learn from it?
  • What is the biggest communications fail you’ve seen, in either your own campaign or another brand/company?
  • How can you create a ‘dare to fail’ culture in an organisation?
  • How do you measure what works, and what doesn’t?
  • What advantages does ‘daring to do’ ultimately offer you, or your business?
  • What advice would you give to comms pros who have never pushed the boundaries?

Join us! We tweet from @CommsChat and #CommsChat takes place every Monday, from 8-9pm GMT. Anyone can take part in the discussion – simply follow the hashtag here or on Twitter. If you can’t make the chat or would like to revisit it, a transcript will be posted to Storify on Tuesday morning. We’d love to hear your suggestions for future topics – please get in touch with Amy at amy.sandys@communicatemagazine.co.uk or contact us on Twitter with any ideas.
