September 10, 2012 #CommsChat on 10 September: Discussing Social Media Week London with Chinwag
It’s nearly that time again – Social Media Week is coming to London from 24 September, hosted for the third time by Chinwag.
The theme of this year’s Social Media Week is Empowering Change through Collaboration, and sessions over the four days include an event hosted by Communicate and Mynewsdesk on Integrating social media.
Tonight on #CommsChat, we’re going to be discussing Social Media Week and some of its potential highlights. Topics will include:
– What do events like Social Media Week London aim to achieve?
– Which topics are predicted to be the most popular over the course of the week?
– Is mobile a bigger focus in 2012 than it was at the first Social Media Week London in 2010?
– What are the other topics that have come to the fore as Social Media Week has progressed?
– Is the audience for Social Media Week London mainly those who are already interested in social media? Or does it reach out to new users?
Everyone is welcome to take part in #CommsChat. We kick off at 8pm (UK time) and the conversation usually lasts for about an hour. You can track the chat right here on our site, or simply by searching for #commschat within Twitter.
If you can’t make it, a transcript will go up tomorrow morning showcasing the chat.
