October 11, 2019 Transcript of #CommsChat on the CIPR strategy document
The @CIPR_UK draft strategy and consultation have stirred up strong feelings in the profession. Does the strategy go far enough? You had your say on this week’s #CommsChat. Our special guests were @RobBrown, managing partner at Rule 5 and a former CIPR president, as well as Story Starts Here & Grow Social Capital director Andy Green @Starts_Story. Topics included:
- What do you believe the CIPR strategy should be focused on?
- How confident are you that the CIPR strategy addresses the big challenges for PR and communications professionals in the short term and long term?
- The CIPR has received nearly 120 responses to the strategy from a membership of 9,131. What does that signify to you?
- What should the CIPR be doing to address member concerns?
- How likely is it to merge with the PRCA? Would you welcome the merger?
