Yesterday on on #CommsChat, we were joined by Mark Guk (@vimutter), senior software developer at Itransition, as we talked about social collaboration, its purpose and how it can be used as a tool for effective communications. Read the highlights here:

  7. A2 Our clients are favouring Yammer and Jive. We also use Trello and Yammer in the agency.

  8. Maybe it’s me, but I’m still a bit confused….what is a good concrete example of social collaboration (I like examples)?

  9. Yep, obviously. Dev is just an example of realizing that communication could be public and using that, not fighting

  12. Communication helps resolving conflicts. That the idea of github. It is combination of Source Control system with social

  13. If team consist more than one dev, there always been place when results should be joined. And that meant conflicts.
