February 8, 2013 #CommsChat on Transform Awards
Last week, Communicate announced the shortlist for its fourth annual Transform Awards. With over 50 companies shortlisted in 27 categories, the Awards are slated to be the biggest celebration of European rebranding, repositioning and brand transformation. The Awards will be held on 19 March at the Brewery in London.
But before that, this week’s #CommsChat, will feature Tony Lorenz from Endpoint (@endpoint_uk), one of the sponsors of this year’s event. We’ll discuss anything and everything about rebranding and awards.
Take a look at the topics below and join us on Monday:
Does looking at award shortlists/winners inspire you? Is it a good way to keep up to date on what competitive companies are doing and help raise the bar?
Do you feel it’s important to show your team appreciation by attending awards events or is it an opportunity to impress clients?
What is the benefit to entering awards for a rebrand? Does competition bring out the best ideas in people?
How does this year’s shortlist reflect the branding industry as a whole?
What is the elements of a rebrand or brand transformation should be highlighted by the judging process?
Why is it important for a design or branding agency to balance creativity and practicality when working on a rebrand?
Join us! We tweet from @CommsChat and #CommsChat takes place from 8-9pm UK time – for worldwide times, go here. Anyone can take part in the discussion – simply follow the hashtag here or on Twitter. If you can’t make the chat or would like to revisit it, a transcript will go up on Tuesday morning.
We’d love to hear your suggestions for future topics for #CommsChat – get in touch with Brittany by email or Twitter if you’ve got ideas.
