October 31, 2016 #CommsChat on the importance of reputation management
Tonight on #CommsChat we’ll be discussing reputation management and its importance in enhancing an organisational or company brand. We’ll look at how the term is defined across organisations and its purpose, as well as why reputation management needs acknowledging in an increasingly turbulent economic and social environment. We will also discuss how changes to economic and social trends can inform reputation management, in both positive and negative ways.
The topics are as follows:
- Can reputation management be defined? What role does it play in an organisation?
- How can a company or brand engage stakeholders in promoting its reputation?
- How important is brand transparency and authenticity in maintaining a reputation?
- Is there a relationship between social purpose and brand reputation? What is it?
- Can social, digital, economic (etc.) trends be advantageous to company or brand reputation? How?
Join us! We tweet from @CommsChat and #CommsChat takes place every Monday, from 8-9pm GMT. Anyone can take part in the discussion – simply follow the hashtag here or on Twitter. If you can’t make the chat or would like to revisit it, a transcript will be posted to Storify on Tuesday morning. We’d love to hear your suggestions for future topics – please get in touch with Amy at amy.sandys@communicatemagazine.co.uk or contact us on Twitter with any ideas.
