November 3, 2017 #CommsChat on the future of the workforce
This week on #CommsChat, we welcome Esther Damary-George to talk about the future of the workforce. We’ll look at what employers and employees alike now expect from their roles, and how future challenges might come to shape all manner of workplace environments. We’ll also talk about what makes a good workplace, and talk about how the workplace can be ‘futureproofed’ to combat change. Follow @CommsChat on Twitter and use the hashtag #CommsChat to get involved.
The topics are:
- How will the future workforce want to work? What changes are needed?
- Which main forces are shaping the future of the workplace?
- What do potential employees now look for in a job?
- What skills do employers look for? How will this change?
- How can employers, and employees, get more out of existing resources?
- What’s your favourite aspect of your workplace? Is it future-proofed?
Join us! We tweet from @CommsChat and #CommsChat takes place every Monday, from 8-9pm GMT. Anyone can take part in the discussion – simply follow the hashtag here or on Twitter. If you can’t make the chat or would like to revisit it, a transcript will be posted to Storify on Tuesday morning. We’d love to hear your suggestions for future topics – please get in touch with Amy at amy.sandys@communicatemagazine.co.uk or contact us on Twitter with any ideas.
