This week's chat

October 30, 2017 #CommsChat on organisational culture

On Monday’s #CommsChat we’ll take a closer look at organisational culture. Looking at what defines the fabric of an organisation, we’ll be discussing internal and external perceptions, responding to changes, and cultivating a positive outlook with regards to workplace culture. We’ll also be looking at the possibility of measuring culture, and if it’s possible to achieve tangible benchmarks with regards to culture within an organisation. Follow @CommsChat on Twitter and use the hashtag #CommsChat to get involved.

The topics are:

  • What defines workplace culture?
  • How do you cultivate a positive organisational culture?
  • How do you match the external perception of your organisation with its internal reality?
  • Is it possible to accurately measure organisational culture? If so, how?
  • How do you respond to negative changes in workplace culture?

Join us! We tweet from @CommsChat and #CommsChat takes place every Monday, from 8-9pm GMT. Anyone can take part in the discussion – simply follow the hashtag here or on Twitter. If you can’t make the chat or would like to revisit it, a transcript will be posted to Storify on Tuesday morning. We’d love to hear your suggestions for future topics – please get in touch with Amy at amy.sandys@communicatemagazine.co.uk or contact us on Twitter with any ideas.
