June 24, 2013 #CommsChat on online video content
Last week, Facebook announced that Instagram would feature a new video platform to enable the sharing of 15-second clips. Some may see this as a counter to Twitter’s Vine, others as the gradual take up of video content by social sites, still more as an attempt to monetise the behemoth photo-sharing site.
Tonight on #CommsChat we’ll explore social video content and what it means for communicators.
- Why has Instagram added video? What role in comms do Vine and video sharing already play?
- Will this impact brand communications? Content marketing?
- How can internal communicators use social video?
- How does video content impact a brand’s SEO potential?
- What are examples of effective branded video content?
