May 25, 2012 #CommsChat on HTML5, 28 May
This Monday (28 May) on #CommsChat, we’re examining the advent of HTML5. A tool to potentially revolutionise online corporate communications, it’s estimated that within two years 50% of business apps will run on HTML5 – so now is the perfect time to get to grips with it.
We’ll be joined by Cathal Smyth, managing director of The Group, the UK’s leading online corporate communications specialist. Cathal will also be speaking at Communicate magazine’s upcoming seminar on HTML5 – you can get details and book at communicatemagazine.co.uk/HTML5
Topics on Monday will include:
- What is HTML5?
- How is HTML5 an improvement on previous formats and what does it allow us to achieve?
- How does HTML5 relate to web apps?
- Is freedom from the dominancy of Apple and Flash important?
- Beyond the early adopters of the technology, what will be the wider effect of HTML5?
#CommsChat takes place from 8pm (UK time) each Monday evening, and you can take part here on the site, or by tracking the #commschat tag on Twitter. A transcript will go up on Tuesday morning. See you there!
