December 6, 2018 #CommsChat on the trust gap within organisations
A drp whitepaper on the practice of communications was debated in parliament by the All-Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) chaired by MP James Heappey. The report, ‘Perception vs. Reality,’ describes the dissonance between what’s stated and what’s practiced in corporate communications. This week on #CommsChat, we’ll be joined by Callum Gill who will share his thoughts on the trust gap in organisations. Topics include:
- Is there a trust gap between perception and reality in modern organisations? Why?
- What can be done to close the gap within organisations?
- Research shows only 43% of the UK public trusts organisations, how can businesses rebuild trust and combat mistrust?
- Are employers providing comms professionals with the right technology to do their jobs? Why or why not? What can be done to alter this?
- What do comms professionals need to know moving forward in 2019?
Join us! We tweet from @CommsChat and #CommsChat takes place every Monday, from 8-9pm GMT. Anyone can take part in the discussion – simply follow the hashtag here or on Twitter.
